From Preacher’s Desk!

Welcome to Victory Bible Baptist Church, serving the Greater Metro-East area of St. Louis. We are excited that you chose to spend some time looking around our website and pray that the Lord will bless you for it, as well as lead you to come visit our church. I trust that you will find helpful information here.

Allow me to take a moment and explain who we are. Victory Bible Baptist Church is an independent fundamental Baptist church. We stand squarely on the inspired and preserved Word of God, the King James Bible; we are a soul winning, bus route running, old fashioned hymns of revival singing, Faith Promise Missions minded people. Our primary goal is the great commission found in Matthew 28:19-20. Our second goal is to teach and train the Christian to have the victorious life that Christ wants them to achieve. Victory was named for exactly that reason; God can provide victory over everything in life – 1 Corinthians 15:57 “But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.”

If you are looking for a place where you can:

  • Worship God
  • Learn more about becoming conformed to the image of Christ
  • Raise a family in the love and nurture of the Lord
  • Be trained in how to have a victorious Christian life
  • And just enjoy being part of a church family

Then Victory Bible Baptist Church is that place. We have Sunday School for all ages, nurseries for the little ones, a dynamic Teen Ministry, many church-wide activities; Bible based Preaching, Missions Conference as well as many other conferences and guest preachers in order to help achieve a deeper walk with Christ.

I invite you to spend some time exploring this website and delving into the information that it holds. Watch for where the cursor is as you may find hidden treasures everywhere you go.

Please make it a point to come by and visit us for one of our services and I truly believe you will be changed forever.

A Letter to Parents:

“I don’t want to lose him.” That is the cry of many parents throughout our churches. Because so many are lost in our society, we as parents get afraid that applying too much pressure will cause our teenagers to run. Coupled with real-world experiences of those attacked by evil, this fear has become the reality for many of those we know and love. Unfortunately, that puts us in a posture of defense, standing strong but often back on our heels.

By encouraging our teens to “Be an Example”, I believe we can go on offense. This motto empowers the teenager to have a place in the church, and shows the right place for them in the body of Christ. Young Timothy was told to be an example of the believers, meaning that they can lead even the elders in this manner. To achieve this, we strive for a combination of a powerful Sunday School class, competition designed to encourage, dynamic fun activities, and plenty of opportunities to serve.

We trust you will find for your teenager a place of encouragement, accountability, and most of all a safe place where nobody is left out. Together we can teach them to learn the Bible, follow the Holy Spirit, and trust the family. Above all, we want to help you equip them for not only serving the Lord now, but with a desire and vision to serve Him as adults. Let’s commit and rely upon God’s promise that we will not lose them in the transition! (Proverbs 22:6)
